How we can help you
Sometimes trees outgrow the space in your garden, but rather than have it cut down, wouldn’t it be better to reduce its size?
Timely action is important, as the longer it’s left, the harder it is to prune and less likely to recover.
The type of tree determines the optimal time for pruning … some deciduous trees are best late in the year whilst others are best in summer. Evergreens are different again … so please talk to us about how to best meet the needs of your garden.
In addition to regular pruning to make a tree smaller, more balanced and attractive, we offer 3 other types of pruning:
• Crown Lifting – Lower branches removed to improve access underneath and allow more light into the garden
• Crown Thinning – Remove around a third of the branches to improve the look of the tree and again to let more light into your garden.
• Crown Reduction – Target pruning to reduce the overall canopy size of the tree.
Sadly sometimes a tree will need to be removed … it may be diseased, storm damaged … or simply you’ve inherited a garden with the wrong tree in the wrong place.
We provide Stump Grinding services to clear the area to enable you to use that space for a new, better suited tree, or maybe a flowerbed and lawn.
We make this a simple and safe process for you.
In case of storm damage, we can offer a 24-hour Emergency Service.
Please note: before commissioning any work, you may need to check with your local council regarding Tree Preservation Orders (TPO) on your tree. Alternatively we can do this on your behalf.
